Because it is a fruit, mangosteen is merely now being studied clinically in “double blind” studies to ascertain its results.
Researchers though have reviewed the fruit and established that it is extremely high, in fact many times above other natural foods, in anti-oxidant content. One would literally have to drink gallons of green tea, for example, to match the antioxidant content of as few as two ounces of pure mangosteen juice.
Regular consumption of mangosteen juice may have a tremendous effect on the body. Some doctors have explained that this the juice should be used even more frequently than red juice.
